Your role
• Research and modelling to quantify disease and mortality risk
• Development of life and health insurance products for our international primary insurance clients
• Teamwork with other actuaries and data scientists on data modelling and results presentation
• Design and assessment of individual product elements in international and interdisciplinary teams of actuaries,
market specialists, underwriting and claims managers
• Analysis of primary insurance and reinsurance portfolios for the further development of calculation bases and
pricing tools
• Presenting and discussing work results at internal and external events or in specialist publications
Your profile
• Excellent university degree, preferably in mathematics, statistics, or data science
• Ideally, experience in life or health insurance, reinsurance or consulting sectors
• Practical experience in advanced statistical analysis and ideally with handling large datasets
• Excellent English skills; German and additional language skills a plus
In addition to your professional skills and qualifications, you are able to show a high degree of personal
responsibility and commitment. You are agile and attracted by the challenge of consistently getting to grips with
new scenarios and issues and can work both in a team and independently. Furthermore, smooth communication
skills and team spirit round off your profile.
