Job Title: Internal Auditor (m/f/d) in finance /
actuary
Job Purpose / Role
In your role as an internal auditor with actuarial background, you will be part of the German Desk Practice Finance
& Cross Functions of Group Audit. You will strengthen the team with your actuarial knowledge in audits dealing
with actuarial issues. In addition, you will learn about other processes as well and broaden your understanding of
the company. You will also exchange with the international audit community with regard to audits where actuarial
knowledge is needed. We are looking for a forward-thinking and results-oriented internal auditor with a very good
understanding of Health/Life or Property & Casualty business. The successful candidate will have experience in
technical business analysis. She/he will contribute to the efficiency, productivity and success of Allianz Internal
Audit.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform timely, high-quality and risk-oriented audits in the field of risk controlling, pricing actuaries and corporate
actuaries in compliance with the auditing standards of Allianz SE German Desk
- Add value through identifying areas of improvement when conducting process analysis with regard to
governance, risk management and controls
- Collaboration with other audit departments nationally and internationally
- Independent contribution of ideas for the further development of audit processes and methodologies
- Constructive and trusting cooperation through open and customer-oriented communication, presentation of
Internal Audit German Desk as a competent partner through professional appearance
Qualification:
- University degree / Master's degree in mathematics
- Experience in auditing
- Good knowledge of accounting systems like SAP
- In-depth knowledge of supervisory and legal requirements for financial service providers and / or, in particular,
insurance companies
- Profound knowledge of German
- Degree in actuarial science
Experience & key skills:
- Quick comprehension, strong analytical thinking, creativity and a high degree of flexibility
- High level of commitment, resilience and initiative
- Confident demeanor, negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Excellent written and oral communication and teamwork skills
- Good general knowledge of English
- High self-motivation, experience and passion to constantly adapt to new environments
