Pacific Cross Group (PC) is a leading health insurer operating in an exciting business

segment delivering one of the most needed insurance products to a growing and

increasingly affluent population mainly in Southeast Asia. We are operating in the

Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. We are rapidly

expanding in our markets.

We invite applications for the following position based in Hong Kong*

Regional Chief Actuary

Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for maintaining, improving and extending the quality of our health

insurance business written in the various markets by managing pricing and reserving,

monitoring experience, working with underwriting and claims on business improvement

processes. You will also work with marketing to identify product opportunities. This will also

encompass preparation and negotiation of quotations, negotiation of reinsurance contracts,

communication with regulators, operational planning and monitoring of technical accounts.

Last but not least you will join the IFRS17 committee and work with our CFOs on

implementation of the new accounting standard.

Your qualifications:

You are a fellow of an actuarial organisation preferably DAV. You have six to ten

years’ health insurance experience with a thorough understanding of all technical

aspects. You enjoy meeting new people, exploring business opportunities,

analysing and developing business solutions, communicating complex issues to a

varied audience.
