Key Responsibilities:

• Valuation support on regular US GAAP reporting, local Statutory reporting (e.g. Singapore and Labuan), and entity reporting (e.g. Solvency II)
• Experience studies support to facilitate valuation best estimate basis review
• Modelling of key business on Prophet platform or via a simplified modelling technique
• Support on projections for economic valuation projects, business planning, and other analysis
• Performs valuation work and ad-hoc department projects as needed
• If the candidate performs exceptionally well, there may be an opportunity to extend the contract or convert to a permanent role.

Requirements:

• Students pursuing bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
• Completion of at least one exam with an accredited actuarial professional body is preferred but not required.
• Working experience in life insurance/reinsurance companies; previous financial reporting or reinsurance administration experience will be a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database software such as Excel and Access applications.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
