The DAV careers market becomes actupool
For years the DAV has offered a careers market especially for actuarial talents. Now this has been completely revised. May we present: actupool!
The German Association of Actuaries (DAV), which represents more than 5,600 actuarial experts in Germany, is committed to providing the best possible support for German actuaries in their daily work. Many years ago, a highly specialized careers market was introduced for this purpose - so that top employers and actuarial talents can meet. This is still our goal – with a new independent platform with a fresh design, with more functionalities and a new name. The platform actupool expands the actu family founded by the DAV, which started last year with the international streaming platform actuview. The platform actupool also extends beyond borders. While the focus is on German-speaking countries, there is also an English version, which will increasingly address the European market.
For users, actupool offers many new features that make finding a new job easier. Search for part-time and full-time jobs or internships in your region or in line with your personal area of expertise. The full text search will find the perfect job advertisement for you. If the right one hasn’t been listed yet, you can sign up to an alert for incoming advertisements that match your search query. Have you found what you are looking for? Simply apply directly via the link in the advertisement or use the internal application system, where you can conveniently upload your CV / resumé and all relevant documents. Furthermore, actupool now also offers a lot more information. Every employer introduces itself via company profiles. In addition, the new news section offers you interesting articles about your job search, your career and the actuarial profession.
When it comes to accessibility, actupool is located wherever you are. In addition to the actupool website, you will continue to find job offers on the well-known microsite stellenmarkt.aktuar.de on the DAV website and on its sister platform actuview. And of course the latest job offers will continue to be sent to your inbox as a newsletter on request if you register via your personal account on aktuar.de or here via the newsletter form.
